Services.

  • Initial Assessment

It all begins somewhere. And therapy is no different. The therapeutic journey starts with an initial assessment which can sometimes feel a little untherapeutic (I aim for this not to be the case). My job in this session is to gather all relevant background information to create a big picture of where we are headed for therapy and start to assemble a collaborative road map.

Your one and only job is to figure out if we are a good fit e.g. do we vibe, am I someone you can see yourself working with? Is what I have to offer going to work for you?

  • Couple Therapy

Sometimes people do not know what to expect when attended couple therapy and also are on edge as it can be a new and scary experience with a lot weighing on it. I am here to hopefully make your journey as simple as possible.

When I work with couples, the couple is the client - meaning there are no secrets between the 3 of us, everything is on the table and this helps to keep the therapeutic relationship intact and therapy as neutral as possible so that we can achieve the best outcomes collaboratively.

  • Individual Therapy

The initial assessment lays the foundations for therapy which is then tailored to your individual needs and aims to support you in addressing these and creating the life you want to have.

I work with adults and adolescents.

  • Sex Therapy

I am trained in evidence-based practice for working specifically with sexual issues. I see both couples and individuals with these difficulties. I am contracted by Sex Therapy New Zealand for this work.

  • Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

As a psychologist practicing in Aotearoa New Zealand, I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for all individuals. I recognize and honor the rich diversity of the communities I serve, including people of all cultures, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, and beliefs.

My goal is to support your well-being in a manner that affirms your identity and lived experiences. Everyone’s journey is different, and I am dedicated to walking alongside you with empathy, openness, and professional care.

  • Obligation to Te Tiriti O waitangi

Being tangata whenua and working within Aotearoa New Zealand as a registered health professional I believe it is important that I acknowledge the unique status of tangata whenua and uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in my practice. I strive to work in culturally responsive ways that respect Māori values, worldviews, and experiences.
